DMS, Destination Marketing Services South Africa is a South African representation company based in Cape Town headed by Martie Malan.

We have extensive experience in tourism and have built up key contacts world-wide. DMS is an expert in connecting the South African tourism industry to the inbound and outbound products world-wide. The company works closely with all its business partners and can be seen as an extension of the marketing arm of the Portfolio in establishing an effective link to key market segments.

Martie Malan has been involved in tourism for many years. She has a B.A degree from Stellenbosch University and a post graduate marketing diploma from UNISA. She established Game Lodge Reservations and Sites of Africa, a successful inbound tour operator business in the 90's. She held key-positions with major tour operators, including Sales and Marketing for the Hilton Hotel Group, Senior Sales Manager for Kruger National Park and Sales Director for Arabella Sheraton (now Westin Grand) before establishing Destinations Marketing Services in 2005. During her years in tourism Martie has established strong contacts in both the inbound and outbound market. She has also been involved in international market research projects for international clients and many successful public relationship events.

During the 80's Martie was the first woman on the ASATA board of directors representing Namibia.
Her strengths lie in Martie's extensive contacts in the various market segments and her belief that relationship management is the core for providing effective services for providing effective service to her clients.
